In June of 2019, New York City will open its doors to the first WorldPride ever hosted in the United States.
The celebration honors the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and the event that sparked a worldwide movement. This truly once in a generation experience will span over 30 days, with 50+ events and over 4 million people expected.
There are few moments in a lifetime where it seems like all the world is at peace. In those moments, magic becomes reality and the world becomes one. Humans of Pride is a story of one of those moments that will become global tale for decades to come.
This documentary will follow the journey of a millennial filmmaker and gay activist as he experiences what it's like inside the making of WorldPride NYC, the largest LGBTQIA+ (PRIDE Community) moment in history.
While attending many of the high profile events, the Humans of Pride team will go behind the scenes to gather exclusive interviews from a slew of celebrities and leaders. The interviews will be driven by thought provoking conversation, addressing the community’s past, present, and challenges of the future.
This film is not just art, but a blueprint and vehicle for achieving the mission of inspiring hope and progress for the global LGBTQIA+ community.
